Specifications
Fleet
Power 1000 provides 1000 continuous watts of silent and efficient AC
household power from your vehicle's DC batteries. Designed for
ambulances, fire apparatus and other demanding commercial vehicles,
Fleet Power 1000 handles a surge of more than twice its continuous
power rating and is ideal for demanding loads. A built-in, powerful,
50-amp, 3-stage charger automatically charges your batteries without
the risk of overcharge. The inverter / charger comes with a transfer
switch that automatically selects either utility or inverter power
sources. Fleet Power Inverter / Chargers are built with quality
commercial grade components for reliability and durability.
Considering the inverter / charger's durability and heavy-duty power
capability, Fleet Power Inverter / Chargers are compact and are
fairly easy to install in either horizontal or vertical spaces.
Built for hands-off operation, Fleet Power 1000 can be used with the
optional Fleet Power Remote for on/off control and basic system
monitoring. For advanced system monitoring and control, Fleet Power
1000 can be paired with optional Link instrumentation.
Fleet Power 1000
Features
1000-watt Continuous Output with 3000-watt Surge
Fleet Power 1000 provides 1000 watts of voltage and
frequency-regulated AC power from a deep-cycle battery bank. A high
surge supports demanding loads that require more power at start up.
The inverter/charger's modified sine wave output is compatible with
on-board computers, halogen flood lights, power tools including 0.5
HP bench grinders, drill motors, tile saws and much more. Automatic
operation is made possible by Fleet Power 1000's microprocessor. In
most cases, the inverter/charger can be left on with no attention or
maintenance required.
Built-in, Automatic 3-stage Battery Charger
Whenever utility or generator power is available, Fleet Power
1000's powerful and built-in 50-amp charger will automatically
charge your batteries. Fleet Power's charger is designed to charge
wet, gel or AGM batteries in 3 stages, including: bulk charge,
acceptance and float. By using Fleet Power Remote, a manually
engaged equalizing charge cycle is possible.
Automatic Transfer Switch
Fleet Power 1000's transfer switch allows the inverter/charger
to be connected to an external AC source. The transfer switch
automatically ensures power is distributed to the battery charger
and to loads that are placed on the output of the inverter. Fleet
Power 1000 can be used as a self-contained back up power system with
the addition of batteries. Fleet Power's power sharing feature
senses AC current being used by the battery charger and reduces
charging power consumption if AC loads require more power.
Safety and Protection Features
Various circuit breakers protect Fleet Power 1000 and the loads
operating from the inverter/charger. Fleet Power 1000 is
electronically protected from extreme overloads, high and low
battery voltage and over-temperature conditions. A 15 amp GFCI
outlet is also provided for direct plug-in of tools and appliances.
Quiet and clean operation
The inverter/charger can provide AC power while the engine is
running or for a limited time when the engine is off. As an
alternative to a generator, Fleet Power 1000 operates quietly and
can be used in-vehicle.
Compact and Easy to Install
Fleet Power 1000's compact design makes installation in
horizontal or vertical spaces easy. The inverter/charger can be
safely mounted in tight locations. Built with durable and
corrosion-resistant materials, Fleet Power 1000 is able to withstand
years of regular wear-and-tear in an installed location.
