Specifications
Fleet Power 1500 is designed for work
vehicle applications. The inverter/charger produces 1500 watts of on
board, AC power from your vehicle's DC batteries. Fleet Power 1500 has a
continuous power rating of 1500 watts and can handle a surge of more
than three times its power rating at 4500 watts. A powerful 75-amp,
3-stage charger is built in and automatically charges your batteries
without the risk of overcharge. A transfer switch automatically selects
utility, generator, or inverter power sources. Fleet Power Inverter /
Chargers are built with quality commercial grade components for
reliability and durability. Considering the inverter / charger's
durability and heavy-duty power capability, Fleet Power Inverter /
Chargers are compact and are fairly easy to install in either horizontal
or vertical spaces.
Built for hands-off operation, Fleet
Power 1500 can be used with the optional Fleet Power Remote for on/off
control and basic system monitoring. For advanced system monitoring and
control, Fleet Power 1500 can be used with optional Link
instrumentation.
Fleet
Power 1500 Features
1500-watt
Continuous Output with 4500-watt Surge
With power ratings of 1500 continuous watts with a 4500-watt surge,
Fleet Power 1500 is an ideal inverter / charger to start loads that
require more power at start up. The inverter / charger's modified sine
wave output is compatible with halogen flood lights, on-board computers,
bench grinders, electric motor drills, hammer drills, 1 HP tile saws,
chains saws and much more. Fleet Power 1500 is microprocessor controlled
to provide automatic operation. In most cases, the inverter / charger
can be left on with no attention or maintenance required.
Built-in,
Automatic 3-stage Battery Charger
A built-in 75-amp charger automatically charges your
batteries whenever utility or generator power is available. Fleet Power
1500 charges in 3 stages: bulk, acceptance and float. In fact, about 80%
of your battery's power can be restored in just one third of the charge
cycle to get you up and running as fast as possible. The charger can be
programmed to work with wet, gel or AGM batteries. An equalizing charge
cycle can be manually engaged with Fleet Power Remote.
Automatic Transfer
Switch
Fleet Power 1500's transfer switch allows the inverter / charger to be
connected to an external AC source and automatically distribute power to
the battery charger in addition to loads that are placed on the output
of the inverter. Its power-sharing feature senses AC current being used
by the battery charger and reduces charging power consumption if AC
loads require more power.
Safety and
Protection Features
Fleet Power 1500 is circuit breaker and electronically protected from
extreme overloads, high and low battery voltage and over-temperature
conditions. A GFCI outlet is also included for convenient, direct plug
in.
Quiet and
clean operation
As an alternative to a generator, Fleet Power 1500 operates
quietly and can be used in-vehicle. It can provide AC power while the
engine is running or for a limited time when the engine is off.
Compact and
Easy to Install
Installation in compact locations is easy with Fleet Power
1500. The inverter / charger can be installed in horizontal or vertical
spaces. Built with durable and corrosion-resistant materials, Fleet
Power 1500 is able to withstand years of regular wear-and-tear in the
installed location.
