Specifications
Fleet Power
2500 provides you with 2500 continuous watts of efficient, modified sine
wave AC power from your vehicle's DC batteries. With a surge of 7500
watts, Fleet Power 2500 is ideal for starting electric motors and other
AC appliances that require more power at start up such as pumps and big
saws. Fleet Power 2500 features a powerful, 130-amp, 3-stage charger
that charges your batteries automatically without the risk of
overcharge. An internal transfer switch built into the system,
automatically selects utility power if available, or inverter power.
Built with quality commercial grade components, Fleet Power 2500s are
reliable and durable. Considering the inverter / charger's durability
and heavy-duty power capability that allows you to run almost any
electrical item, Fleet Power Inverter / Chargers are compact and are
fairly easy to install in either horizontal or vertical spaces.
Use
Fleet Power 2500 with the optional Fleet Power Remote for on/off control
and basic system monitoring. For advanced system monitoring and control,
Fleet Power 2500 can be paired with optional Link instrumentation.
Fleet Power 2500
Features
2500-watt Continuous Output with 7500-watt Surge
This Fleet Power model provides 2500 watts of voltage and
frequency-regulated AC power from a deep-cycle battery bank. A 7500-watt
surge supports demanding loads that require more power at start up. The
inverter / charger's modified sine wave output is compatible with
on-board computers, power tools including bench grinders, drill motors,
1 HP tile saws, halogen flood lights and more. Automatic operation is
made possible by Fleet Power 2500's microprocessor. In most cases, the
inverter/charger can be left on with no attention or maintenance
required.
Built-in, Automatic 3-stage Battery Charger
Fleet Power 2500's powerful and built-in, 130-amp charger
will automatically charge your batteries when utility or generator power
is available. The charger is designed to charge wet, gel or AGM
batteries in 3 stages, including: bulk charge, acceptance and float. By
using Fleet Power Remote, a manually engaged equalizing charge cycle is
possible.
Automatic Transfer Switch
With Fleet Power 2500's transfer switch, the inverter / charger
automatically connects to an external AC source. The transfer switch
distributes power to the battery charger, and to loads that are placed
on the output of the inverter. Fleet Power 2500 can be used as a
self-contained back up power system with the addition of batteries. Its
power-sharing feature senses AC current being used by the battery
charger and reduces battery charging power consumption if loads require
more power.
Safety and Protection Features
Various circuit breakers protect Fleet Power 2500 and the loads
operating from the inverter / charger. Fleet Power 2500 is
electronically protected from extreme overloads, high and low battery
voltage and over-temperature conditions. To directly plug loads into the
inverter / charger a 15-amp GFCI is included.
Quiet and clean operation
The inverter / charger provides AC power while the engine is
running or, for a limited time, when the engine is off. As an
alternative to a generator, Fleet Power 2500 operates quietly and can be
used in the vehicle.
Compact and Easy to Install
Built with tough and corrosion-resistant materials, Fleet
Power 2500 is able to withstand years of regular wear-and-tear in the
installed location. The inverter/charger's compact design makes
installation in horizontal or vertical spaces easy.
