A remote
panel dedicated to the operation of Fleet Power inverter/chargers, the
Fleet Power Remote offers several features not found on the
inverter/chargers themselves. The on/off power switch is used to control
the inverter or charger. Light Emitting Diode Indicators (LEDs) provide
important information on system status, current in inverter and charge
modes, a DIP-switch, battery voltage and amperage information. The DIP
switch on the back of the remote control allows the user to set inverter
and charger operational parameters such as: 1) Battery type, 2) Battery
temperature, 3) Idle sensitivity, and 4) Power sharing settings. An
ignition lockout feature is available on one of the remote models so
that the inverter/charger does not turn on when the vehicle ignition is
on.
