Formerly known as the "E-Meter", Link 10 is a state-of-the-art single
battery bank monitor that uses sophisticated microprocessor technology
to report all significant battery information. A simple and easy-to-use
interface displays volts, amps, amp hours, and operating time remaining.
Link 10 allows you to select Automatic, Sleep and Scanning modes. Link
10 also measures and reports kilowatt hours and historical battery
information such as number of charge cycles, deepest discharge, and
average depth of discharge. It automatically calculates and displays
charging efficiency. Link 10 can be used with 12 or 24-volt battery
banks. By adding an optional prescaler, Link 10 can also monitor battery
banks up to 500 volts.

Features
User
Interface with Graphic and Digital Displays
Link 10's splash-proof front panel allows for hands free operation and
performs over 50 different functions. Major functions include:
-
Four
multi-colored LED Bar Graph displays battery state-of-charge at a
glance for a single battery.
-
A
DC Volt display shows specific battery voltage information on the
battery bank.
-
A
DC Amp display shows the present flow of current in or out of the
battery. It displays net amps drawn from the battery for various
loads and the charge rate from the charging source.
-
An
Amp Hour display shows amp hours consumed. This represents the
amount of energy removed from the battery. During battery charging
Link 10 compensates for charging efficiency of the battery as it
counts back towards 0. Range + 0-1,999.
-
A
Time Remaining display provides an estimate of how long a battery
can be operated at present load until Link 10 indicates the battery
is completely discharged. This is based on a selectable,
time-averaged rate of discharge. Range + 0-255.
-
A
Select (SEL) button changes a numeric display from volts, to amps to
amp hours to time remaining.
-
A
Set (SET) button provides entry to the Set Up and Advanced Functions
modes.
Programmable Advanced Functions
Customize Link 10 to perform specialized functions such as setting
Alternative Energy, Sleep and Kilowatt Hour display modes.
Easy
Installation
Link's patented ratchet ring mounting hardware makes installation easy
and fast. The gasket around Link 10 ensures a rattle-free installation.
Complete installation instructions come with each Link10 including
instructions for high voltage systems found in electric vehicles.
Historical Data Display
Link 10 displays key historical battery information such as
charge efficiency, deepest discharge, and average discharge.
Front
Panel Software
Lock Link 10's Front Panel Software Lock prevents other users
from changing set up parameters.
Precision Shunt (included)
Each Link 10 comes with a precision shunt. The shunt is a one
hundred micro ohm resistor. Link 10 senses very small voltage
measurements across the shunt one thousand times per second in order to
calculate average current. Heavy-duty shunts are available for currents
that exceed 500 Amps.
