ProSine 3.0

True Sine Wave Inverters / Chargers

Specifications

Prosine 3.0 provides up to 3000 watts of true sine wave output and combines this with a 120-amp, continuous-duty multistage battery charger. Available in 12 or 24-volt versions, Prosine 3.0 provides clean, regulated output that offers distinct advantages over other wave forms. Designed to replicate the electrical output produced by utility companies, true sine wave is the ideal waveform to power high-end electronic equipment such as laser printers and high-end sound systems. Offering a revolutionary power to weight ratio, Prosine technology has become a benchmark for premium integrated power systems.

Prosine 3.0 incorporates automatic overload, short circuit, low-voltage, over-temperature and AC back feed protection circuitry. An Advance Control System Panel (ACS) and Battery Temperature Sensor is included with Prosine 3.0. The ACS liquid crystal display allows you to monitor and control your Prosine inverter / charger from a remote location.

ProSine 3.0 Features

3000 watt Output with 4000 watt Surge
Prosine 3.0 uses DC power from a battery to provide up to 3000 watts of continuous true sine wave AC power with a 4000-watt surge to start demanding and sensitive loads such as laser printers, sound systems, and plasma screen televisions. Prosine's output is clean and regulated, offering distinct advantages over other wave forms. Motors and battery chargers will run better and cooler on true sine wave inverters.

Power Factor Corrected Multistage Charger
Battery life and performance improves with Prosine's, 120-amp multistage charger. The charger keeps batteries in top condition when they are not in use. Prosine 3.0 comes with a preprogrammed charge cycle for gel or lead acid batteries. Prosine 3.0 regulates the voltage and current delivered to the battery without overcharging. Manual equalization allows you to recondition lead acid batteries when necessary.

Prosine 3.0's power factor corrected charge feature doesn't draw excessive power or trip breakers in order to provide a 120-amp charge. A 120-amp charge is maintained even with input voltage as low as 100 V. Power factor correction makes charging more efficient since it uses less AC input current to create DC output current.

When recharging batteries, Prosine 3.0 will reduce its current draw when AC loads are operating to keep within the limits of the AC input breaker rating. Batteries can be recharged when AC equipment is operating since remaining current is available to recharge batteries.

Built in 30A Transfer Switch
An integrated 30-amp transfer relay provides seamless transition from shore to inverter power. When utility AC power fails or is disconnected from the unit, a quick 20-millisecond transfer takes place and Prosine 3.0 begins delivering AC power to loads on the system. When utility AC becomes present again, the control circuit waits 8 seconds and Prosine 3.0 verifies the stability of the AC source. Prosine 3.0 synchronizes the inverter to the AC source for a smooth, seamless transfer back to utility power. The microprocessor inside Prosine ensures that the inverter is synchronized with the line to provide a smooth transfer if utility power fails.

ACSP Remote Panel and Temperature Sensor Included
The Advanced Control System Panel (ACS) digitally displays AC and DC system information including volts and amps. Charger information is displayed including charger state, equalize control, and override charge mode. The ACS can also perform system diagnostics.

Use Prosine's Temperature Sensor to adjust the charge formula in real time according to actual battery temperature to ensure that batteries are fully charged even when temperature fluctuates.

Compact, Lightweight and Easy to Install
Prosine 3.0's high frequency switching technology results in a lighter weight and compact design making installation into tight spaces possible. Prosine 3.0's actual weight is 32 lbs. (14.5 kg).
