Specifications
The
Prowatt 1750 premium power-inverter provides 1750 watts of continuous,
AC power from the battery in your vehicle, boat or RV. Prowatt 1750 is
an industrial strength, professional high-power inverter that transforms
DC battery power into 115-volt household AC power. While designed to
handle many industrial applications, Prowatt 1750 is affordable, making
it a popular choice with consumers seeking a 1750-watt inverter. Prowatt
1750 can be used for simultaneous applications and is ideal for running
virtually any electrical appliance found in your home. Prowatt 1750 can
surge to 3000 watts, allowing it to handle equipment that requires more
power at start up.
A quiet
alternative to generators, Prowatt 1750 is built for years of trouble
free operation. The Prowatt 1750 also comes with a remote on/off switch
and an easy-to-read display panel for monitoring battery current and
voltage. Advanced engineering makes Prowatt light, durable and easy to
install. Prowatt 1750's AC hardwire capability, its AC back-feed
protection feature and its dual GFCI outlets, improve the reliability
and mounting quality of installation.
PROwatt
1750 Features
Powers AC Products up to 1750 watts
Since Prowatt 1750 provides continuous power up to 1750 watts, it can
run virtually any electrical appliance you would normally run from your
home. It is ideal for running items such as full-size microwaves, coffee
makers, toasters and blow dryers. Prowatt 1750 powers a full-sized
microwave for about fifty minutes from an 8D battery. The exact run time
depends on the amount of power being drawn by the application and the
size and condition of the battery.
Dual
GFCI outlet for Safe Operation
Prowatt 1750 features two GFCI outlets for safe operation of various
loads. Much like a breaker in your home, Prowatt 1750's GFCI outlets are
able to sense a short circuit, reducing the chance of shock or fire
Automatic shutdown
Prowatt 1750 automatically shuts down at low voltage to prevent complete
discharge of the vehicle's battery. This ensures that expensive
batteries are protected from excessive depletion and also ensures that
there is always enough charge to start the vehicle. When an appliance is
rated above 1750 continuous watts, the inverter's electronics will
automatically shut down the inverter without damaging the inverter or
the appliance. Prowatt 1750 also features short-circuit protection and
an over-temperature control that shuts down the inverter if it becomes
overheated.
AC
backfeed protection
Since Prowatt 1750 has been built with AC back-feed protection, it is
able to sense a wiring error. If utility voltage is applied to the
output of the inverter, the inverter will safely shut down with no
damage to the load or the inverter.shut down with no damage to the load
or the inverter.
Internal Terminals Support Addition of External AC Outlets
Prowatt 1750's internal terminal strip allows you to install an AC
receptacle in a remote location. This increases the flexibility of
remote installations as many other inverter models have an external AC
outlet only.
One
Year Warranty
Prowatt 1750 comes with a one year warranty.
